Bhutan Happiness is a Place

Bhutan is one of the world’s most exclusive destinations, opening to tourism only in 1974. It retains a rare old-world charm, defined by ancient monasteries and temples, prayer flags fluttering across forested hillsides, glacial rivers, and warm, welcoming people. A highlight of this journey is the vibrant Thimphu Tshechu, held at the country’s largest monastery, a celebration of colour, ritual and tradition.
