WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US

Excellent Support and Service from Travel Nation

In March 2017 I belatedly decided to travel to India for a holiday with my son. I had lived for a while in India some forty years ago as a research student and planned to visit old haunts and people I had known. Travel Nation provided a wonderful tailor made service, responding to all my requirements by arranging a complex itinerary to include international and internal flights, an overnight sleeper, driver and guide and excellent hotels. Credit must also go to Creative Travel in India who undertook to deliver arrangements made and overseen by Travel Nation. We enjoyed hassle-free visits to palaces and forts in Rajasthan, sightings of a leopard and two tigers on safari in Ranthambore, and a nostalgic return to the ancient pilgrimage centre of Ujjain. Graham Baker ensured that everything went as planned and was immediately available by telephone when I needed him to sort out a minor hitch with flight arrangements. A Big Thankyou to Travel Nation for excellent support and personal service.

Wonderful holiday with Creative Travel

I would just like to congratulate you on organising such a wonderful holiday for us at Easter. We were delighted with the help we had on arrival at the airport, the very patient kind assistance going to the hospital, the wonderful guides in Delhi (especially Vijay) and Agra (the guide BB was superb) and Jaipur. The hotels – Claridges, ITC Agra, Kemm Villas and the atmospheric Diggi Palace were wonderful too. We enjoyed the rickshaw ride and tour in Delhi with Shivl, the cookery lesson with Neha, the bear sanctuary, the village tour in Agra, the organic farm in Japur. All these excursions worked very well.

We also appreciated the effort you went to to transfer us from Khas Bahg to DiggiPalalce. Thank you. It made all the difference. DiggiPalalce was much more the experience we were looking forMost of all, we were lucky to have such a courteous, safe and efficient driver – the reliable Balbir and an extremely comfortable safe minibus. Of course we will recommend Creative Travel to anyone we know going to India. These memories of your wonderful country will stay with us forever.

Holiday of a lifetime

I just wanted to let you know that Barry and I are now safely home after enjoying what can only be described as the holiday of a lifetime. The holiday which you and the Creative Travel team put together following the family wedding in Mamallapuram meant that our three weeks in India were fantastic. So many different sights and experiences!! and it was very reassuring to be contacted by the Creative staff from time to time to make sure everything was going well. The hotels we stayed in were all good – but we especially enjoyed the Jungle Retreat in the Mudumalai National Park and wildlife reserve. We went on a couple of safaris and saw elephants, sloth bears, cibets, bison, wild boar and several types of deer including the minute mouse deer. But the highlight was catching site of a leopard just after it had killed a deer. We even had a visitation to our bungalow accommodation by a huge bull elephant who just wandered through the retreat (we saw the evidence from a video camera the next morning and were amazed that he hadn’t woken us!)

We also really enjoyed the luxurious Kumarakon Lake Resort and Xandari Pearl hotels and the houseboat trip – all of which were so relaxing.

We’re really hoping to go back again in the future and sample some of the sights of Northern India, but for now will live on the memories (and photos) that we have.

Visit to India

The holiday was amazing so thank you so much for bringing it all together. Creative travel was marvelous, they couldn’t have done anymore for us. The 2 guides that we had in Agra and Jaipur – Ritchie and MrGeeGee were so knowledgeable and fun they brought the tours alive and our taxi driver for the north – Ajay was just lovely. With regards to the Delhi tour we think that it would be good to include the Gandhi museum, as to show where he was cremated without showing where he lived and died was a bit odd. So we went there ourselves and also to other places on our free day so we didn’t miss out.

My husband availed himself of as much Indian food as possible but he couldn’t quite bring himself to eat curry for breakfast.

We were at the Spice Village in Thekkady for our 40th wedding anniversary and they made us a cake and hand made a poster for us signed by all of the staff which was really kind of them and we were very touched.
