“With the success of heli-tourism from the city, the department is planning to launch seaplane tourism on April 15,” he said. He also announced that they had plans to launch buses which can run in water and as well as on roads soon. Chandulal said that Kakatiya Festival would be held in Warangal, Golconda Festival in Hyderabad and Chalukya Festival in Vemulawada in future.

He directed the officials to prepare action plans for conducting these festivals. Perini dance form would be promoted in music and dance colleges in TS, he said. He directed officials to complete Ravindra Bharathi’s renovation March 24.

‘Midway Tourism’ will be launched in Siddipet and Jadcherla. The midway tourist facilities will have restaurants, guest houses, and essential commodities. For ensuring safety of women tourists, the government would run She cabs, the minister said.

  Mural magic on Delhi walls

Delhi's fascination with walks is never-ending, and the latest addition to these walks are the Street Art walks. Thanks to the St+Art Delhi project, Delhiites and tourists can now see several colourful walls painted by international artists all at once place, at the Lodhi Art District, which happens to be one of the first art districts in the country.

The art district, which begins at Meherchand market, has 22 murals. The artists have chosen different themes - some have expressed their love for Delhi, while some chose to give socio-political messages. KN Singh, a resident of the area, told us, "Now, when we look at these walls, it surprises us how we lived without this art for years. The plain walls were always ugly, but the most we could do was paint them. The idea of artists coming here and transforming the area from just another colony to a street art district, was something beyond our imagination."
