Vistara becomes first airline in India to implement airline IT solutions

Vistara announced a partnership with Amadeus, a leading technology partner for the global travel industry, to implement the Amadeus Altéa Suite of technology solutions. Vistara is the first airline in India to adopt the Amadeus Altéa Suite, which is already used by more than 120 airlines worldwide, including Singapore Airlines.

Mr. Phee Teik Yeoh, CEO, Vistara said, "Vistara is set to transform the Indian aviation landscape and we are extremely pleased to partner with Amadeus, a global leader in technology solutions for the travel industry. Our technology partnership with Amadeus will be a key differentiator offering advanced features and an integrated platform for our customers across multiple channels including mobile and web." Based on existing airline contracts, Amadeus estimates that by 2017 the number of Passengers Boarded (PBs) managed by Altéa will be around 1 billion.
